About the Project
Kayseri Kocasinan 24-Classroom Middle School was built in the Erkilet Dere neighborhood of the Kocasinan district to meet the area’s need for a middle school. The project was contracted and completed by Bend Yapı for the client Kayseri Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü (Kayseri Provincial Directorate of National Education).
With a capacity of 24 classrooms, the school brings together classrooms, administrative units and spaces shared by students.
Scope of Work
- Reinforced concrete structural system and rough construction of the 24-classroom school building
- Finishing works covering the facade, joinery and interior finishes
- School yard and landscaping
Our Approach to Educational Buildings
In middle school buildings, heavy student circulation determines the width of corridors and stairs and the durability of materials. The daylight and ventilation conditions of classrooms are among the basic design inputs so that students can work productively throughout the day.
